Low Carb Turmeric Hot Chocolate

On a chilly night, sometimes you want something sweet and spicy! This turmeric hot chocolate hits the spot of warming you up without kicking you off ketosis. Feel free to use your favorite sugar-free sweetener in this recipe, and sweeten to taste.

Here are some tips to help you prepare the perfect Keto hot chocolate:

Our Keto hot chocolate is seasoned with turmeric and vanilla extract. You can adjust the quantities as you wish if you desire a seasoned drink or even add a little cayenne pepper. You may also use an alternative plant-based Keto-friendly milk if preferred. Just be sure to allow for any changes in your macros.

What is the best chocolate to use for this Keto drink?

To limit the number of carbs and keep this recipe Keto-friendly, we usually use cocoa powder. However, we have also decided to use unsweetened baking squares to add richness and creaminess.

What are the health benefits of turmeric?

What makes turmeric so powerful is its curcumin. It’s most known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Taking anti-inflammatory spices and herbs may help your digestive health and keep your digestive tract regular.

Haven’t tried this yet but I am a simple girl. Why not use unsweetened chocolate almond milk? Warm and add tumeric and maybe some cinnamon and nutmeg.
