Can I use a different sweetener in this recipe?

Yes, you can substitute the granulated allulose with your preferred low-carb sweetener, adjusting the amount to taste if needed.

How long will these bars stay fresh?

When stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator, these bars can stay fresh for up to 5-7 days.

Can I freeze these bars for later?

Absolutely! These bars freeze well. Wrap them individually in plastic wrap or foil, then place them in a freezer bag or container. They can be stored in the freezer for up to 2-3 months.

Can I use bottled lime juice instead of fresh lime juice?

While fresh lime juice is preferred for the best flavor, bottled lime juice can be used as a substitute if fresh limes are not available.

How do I know when the crust is done baking?

The crust should be lightly golden brown and still slightly soft to the touch when done. It will firm up as it cools.

Can I use lime zest in addition to lime juice for a stronger lime flavor?

Absolutely! Adding lime zest to the filling will enhance the lime flavor even further.

Can I use coconut cream instead of heavy whipping cream in the filling?

Yes, coconut cream can be used as a dairy-free alternative to heavy whipping cream in the filling for a richer coconut flavor.

Can I add additional toppings or garnishes to these bars?

Certainly! You can sprinkle shredded coconut, lime zest, or even a dollop of whipped cream on top of these bars for extra flavor and presentation.

Made this last night, and it is way too sweet. Had good flavor potential, so I am going to try it again but I’m going to use only one cup of powdered allulose and I am going to add 8 oz of cream cheese. Stay tuned for the result!

69 carbs? Trying to reduce carbs and if this is right it is over my daily limit. It is using keto ingredients but I guess I'll have to find the not best recipe.

Carbs from Allulose are counted differently since they don’t affect blood sugar. You can google it for more details. Carbs are counted but you subtract, fiber, sugar alcohol, and Allulose carbs to arrive at net carbs.

I don’t understand how it possibly has 69g carbs with only 2g net. I think that must be an error.

I think Something is wrong with this recipe! 4 cups of powdered sugar, substitute, and only A few teaspoons of liquid... I'm confused! I will try to make it and let you know how it turns out. It seems it will be super sweet and the carbs ???? Keto?

4 cups is probably correct, it’s essentially a buttercream frosting.

Agree about the powdered sugar substitute amount. Maybe should have been 1/4 cup? Not 4 cups
