Best Keto Whipped Feta Dip with Cranberry
This cranberry-topped whipped feta dip makes the perfect addition to any Keto fall appetizer board. Fresh feta cheese is combined with cream cheese, garlic, thyme, and olive oil and whipped until smooth and creamy. This Keto Fall dip is then topped with a tart homemade cranberry sauce. You can use fresh or frozen cranberries. The result is a salty, creamy, yet sweet and tart combination and an absolutely delicious dip.
This recipe yields approx 400g/14oz.
Is all Feta the same? The number #1 rule when buying Feta is to make sure it is made in Greece and only contains ewe/sheep’s milk (and sometimes goat’s milk), rennet, and salt. It should not contain anything else, nor should it contain cow’s milk. Greek feta will have a salty tangy flavor.
Can I use a different cheese? Feta is the main ingredient in this dish, so it cannot be substituted. However, the cream cheese can be swapped out for thick 10% fat Greek yogurt.
What can I serve the dish with? Serve this dip with your favorite Keto crackers.
Can I make any substitutions? Orange juice can be substituted simply with water and a couple of drops of orange essence (optional). Adjust the sweetener according to your taste.
Can I make this ahead of time? The great news is yes, you can make this 3 days ahead of serving and simply assemble when ready to serve.
How to store this dip? Any leftover dip should be stored in an airtight container and kept in the fridge for up to 5 days. This dip is not suitable for freezing.
