Keto Gambas al Ajillo

Keto Gambas al Ajillo is a delicious dish made using fresh shrimp cooked in plenty of garlic-infused extra virgin olive oil. The flavor is outstanding and is a must for anyone that loves Keto Spanish Food. Extra virgin olive oil is sauteed with twenty cloves of garlic and fresh spicy pepper. Shell-on shrimp is added to this olive oil mixture and sauteed until perfectly pink. Feel free to use shelled shrimp as they are easy to eat. We like to use the shell for added nutritional value and flavor! This dish would be great served with Keto or low carb bread to dip into the lovely olive oil sauce that is made. The final dish is topped with sherry, parsley, and lemon zest.

What type of olive oil is best for this dish?

Please use extra virgin olive oil for the best flavor!

How do I serve this dish?

Serve this dish in an oblong pan, so the shrimp is more or less in a single layer with the olive oil sauce visible around the seafood.

What if I don’t have fresh spicy peppers?

If you don’t have a spicy fresh pepper, feel free to substitute it for crushed red pepper flakes (around ½ to 1 teaspoon).

Thanks for sharing I have a question can this be refrigerated and reheated? If so do you know how long can it last in the fridge? Thanks in advance.

I imagine reheating may make shrimp tough.
