Keto Vegan Gingerbread Latte

Start the holiday season with this perfectly aromatic gingerbread latte. This drink is a vegan and Keto take on the seasonal Starbuck’s gingerbread latte. The best thing about this copycat Keto coffee is that you know exactly what ingredients go into it.

This Keto gingerbread latte takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. Start out by adding the spices and the Keto-friendly maple-flavored syrup to a mug. Whisk them well then add the hot coffee. Heat and froth the coconut milk, and pour it into the mug. Top this Keto coffee with a sprinkle of cinnamon, and serve it immediately.

What spices go into this Keto Latte?

This gingerbread latte has the flavors of a traditional gingerbread cookie. It contains cinnamon, ground ginger, nutmeg, and sugar-free maple syrup. All these ingredients are mixed together, then topped with coffee and coconut milk.

Is this low-carb drink healthy?

Cinnamon and ginger have potential weight-managing properties and may help with regulating your blood sugar levels. Moreover, nutmeg may relieve pain and boost the immune system. Long story short, we think having a Keto gingerbread latte is a great way to start your day.

What type of plant-based milk works best in this recipe?

Creamy, high-fat options such as coconut milk work best in this recipe. To obtain the best results, we recommend you froth the milk. We don’t recommend using other types of plant-based milk, such as almond milk, as they would water down the latte instead of elevating its flavors.

Can you use instant coffee in this Keto coffee recipe?

While this recipe calls for freshly brewed coffee, you can definitely substitute it for espresso or instant coffee dissolved in hot water.

Hmmm. I'll consider this, but with substitutions. NuNaturals has a simple syrup with glycerin and stevia I think, and I have a maple flavoring extract. That with a pat of melted butter or ghee could substitute for the syrup? I also don't like using coconut (milk or flours) in some recipes because the coconut flavor interferes with the result, for me. I might try straight coffee with a but of heavy Whipping Cream. It probably won't be as thick, but I think I'll like the taste better without coconut.

Thought I had the syrup. Had to substitute honey. Will get hit hard on the carbs on this one, but it turned out really good. Probably could have cut the ginger a little, but…

I was looking at the breakdown of nutritional facts and I think you could make it even less with Choczero products. They have 0 sugar alcohols and 0 added sugars the big thing is the flavour. Unfortunately, Choczero is only available in the United States and do not deliver to Canada. So if yo live anywhere outside of the United States you have to get creative to receive Choczero products.

I checked the nutrition details. Fiber is combination from spices & coconut milk.
