Keto Mint Green Iced Tea
Iced green tea with mint, ginger, and lemon is a nutritious and revitalizing beverage for those warm days. One glass will quench your thirst and provide you with abundant antioxidants. Making iced tea with green tea, as opposed to black tea, gives you a mellow and aromatic flavor with added health benefits.
Is this Keto iced tea healthy?
Absolutely! This beverage is the ultimate refreshing beverage for summer. Green tea is packed full of health-promoting compounds like antioxidants, polyphenols, and minerals. It may help burn fat, improve brain function, and prevent multiple diseases. Ginger contains gingerol, which may aid digestion, reduce nausea, and help fight the common flu. It may also help lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Mint leaves are rich in nutrients and may help relieve indigestion. When combining all these ingredients in one drink, you get a nutritious and hydrating beverage.
What sweetener can you use for this Keto iced green tea?
Liquid sweeteners are best when preparing beverages because they dissolve quickly and won't crystalize with temperature changes. We have used pure stevia drops, but you can also use sugar-free flavored syrups. For a natural Paleo alternative, use honey, blackstrap molasses, or maple syrup.
How to customize this iced green tea?
Instead of plain green tea leaves, use jasmine green tea or tea bags with added dried fruits like coconut or pineapple; throw in some fresh fruit, like peach wedges or orange slices. You can also boost the health benefits of this iced green tea by adding turmeric and cinnamon.

The recipe doesn't contain the green tea bags but they're mentioned in the instructions. They should be added to the ingredient list.
