Keto Herbal Tea For Immune Health
Keeping your body in good health to resist cold and flu season is actually very simple. The tricky part is making sure you are consistently giving your body the right foods it needs so it can build that immunity for you. There are many Keto immune-boosting recipes that are believed to help you stay healthy, but immune-boosting recipes won’t reverse an illness you’ve already caught. Instead, drink a tea recipe such as this one once a day to continually build your immunity (which sort of acts like an invisible armor that becomes stronger and stronger).
What are the health benefits of the ingredients in this Keto tea?
Ginger is good for the digestive system. It may aid detoxification and can help to make sure you won’t feel nauseous. Cinnamon tea (in herbal form, not black or caffeinated) has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties which may help keep your blood circulation regulated and your muscles pain-free. Calendula is a type of marigold with antifungal and antimicrobial properties and may heal wounds both inside and outside the body. If you use any ingredients in their natural form to make the tea, please use only food-safe, packaged ingredients that have been labeled for consumption.
Here's an important note about the recipe:
This Keto immune-boosting recipe is intended to be quick and easy to make, but there are plenty of opportunities to customize your tea for your needs. Follow the directions, and you’ll be guided through when you can adjust the ingredients. You can include additional herbal teas that you know to boost your immunity. Remember, your immune health can only be in tip-top shape if you build it up before you catch any illnesses.
What other ingredients can you include in this recipe?
If your muscles are feeling tense, include a relaxing tea like chamomile or echinacea in either their loose-leaf or naturally-dried forms. For additional immune-boosting benefits, some other teas that are believed to help are elderberry and astragalus. Dried, ground reishi mushroom powder is also believed to help boost immunity if consumed regularly over time. For the sake of your tastebuds, it’s better to drink this Keto tea recipe on a regular basis and include 1-2 additional ingredients instead of combining everything in one cup!

Step 1
The teas listed here can all be purchased in tea bags from many popular brands and stores. If you happen to own these ingredients in their natural form, you can also brew them at your desired strength (you may need to brew for longer). If you’re looking for dried calendula, you may have the most luck finding it in a loose leaf tea.Step 2
Bring 8-12 fl oz water to a boil in a kettle using your preferred method. If you’re using tea bags or loose leaf tea, steep the ginger, cinnamon, and calendula for 4 minutes but raw ingredients in their natural state may need to steep for longer, depending on their freshness. After steeping, stir the lemon juice and apple cider vinegar into the tea and discard any tea bags, although you may wish to leave a cinnamon stick for stirring the tea.Step 3
Taste the tea and adjust it to your liking. You can include more lemon juice for extra Vitamin C or apple cider vinegar if you enjoy the taste. If you would like to sweeten the tea, liquid stevia drops might be your best option since you should only need 1-2 drops for a cup. Drink a cup of tea once a day or several times throughout the week.
