Ultimate Keto Salmon with Avocado Salsa
This healthy salmon for two is a fantastic idea for a date night dinner. Salmon and avocado are among the best foods you can eat on a Keto diet. They both are loaded with healthy fats, proteins, and other essential nutrients. This fantastic dish takes just a little over 30 minutes to prepare and will keep you full for hours. You can add one small chili to the salsa for some extra kick or rub the salmon with a pinch of cayenne – whatever you prefer. Serve as it is or pair with a slice of Keto-friendly toasted bread. Enjoy!
Are avocados Keto-friendly?
Avocadoes are loaded with heart-healthy fats and low in carbs, making them among the best foods you can eat while on the Keto diet. One 100g (3.5oz) serving of avocado has just 2 grams of net carbs, so you can easily stay within your daily carb limits.
How do you customize this recipe?
You can season the salmon with some other herbs and spices of your choice (adding a pinch of cayenne is an excellent idea). You can add one sliced chili to the salsa or drizzle everything with some more lime juice.
Can I prepare this recipe in advance?
Although this dish is best when served fresh and warm, you can prepare it in advance and store it in the fridge for a few days. Gently reheat the salmon in the oven before serving.
Is this dish freezer-friendly?
We don't recommend freezing this dish because it will lose its texture and flavor.
