Keto Iced Mocha Coffee

This Keto iced mocha coffee is deliciously creamy with the addition of salted butter (salt adds the best flavor) and BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil) for that extra boost of energy. The medium-chain fatty acids go straight to the liver to be metabolized into ketones, so they are perfect for those on the Keto or low-carb diet. You can make this recipe paleo by adding BULLETPROOF® grass-fed ghee instead of butter or coconut oil. Use special dark cocoa for the darkest chocolate flavor.

Does Keto coffee break a fast?

Yes, technically Keto coffee will break a fast, but it won’t stop ketosis. In fact, medium-chain triglycerides help fuel ketosis further.

What other flavors can you use?

Other flavors you can use are almond extract, peppermint, and rum, just to name a few. You could even blend the ice into the drink to make it frothy.

What other fats can you use?

Coconut oil and BULLETPROOF® grass-fed ghee (if you want butter flavor without the allergens) are also great fats to substitute into this recipe.

  • Step 1

    Brew the coffee double strength in your coffee machine. Pour it into your blender's container. Place it in the fridge to cool completely.

    Once the coffee is chilled, add salted butter and BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil). Blend with a stick blender until lightened in color. Add ice to a tall glass and pour the chilled coffee.

        When do you add cocoa and Swerve? While coffee is hot or chilled?

          You really can add it hot or cold as long as you blend it.
