Keto Buttery Broccoli with Anchovies and Capers

6 ratings

This simple side is loaded with fats and flavor from creamy butter, tender broccoli, salty anchovies, capers and a hint of lemon.

This is a great side dish for chicken or fish or could even be tossed through a low carb spaghetti!

Very good! I didn’t have anchovies so used a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce instead. Will make this again.

Good, except could of used more of each added flavor. Will make again and increase capers, garlic, anchovies, and lemon

My Italian grandmother made this when I was a kid, my mom made it and I make it. My mom and I began substotuting anchovy paste for anchovy fillets to avoid the bones. We also toss the broccoli in the buttery sauce and bake it in the oven for 20-30 minutes or so to seal in the flavors, so to speak. Perfect keto veggie recipe!😊

I know this sounds a little odd... anchovies and broccoli? But wow! What a difference it made to broccoli. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked like we are.
