I’ll never understand why people peel their cucumbers, peeling away most of the nutritional benefits. « Cucumber peels are rich in fiber and contain minerals like magnesium, potassium, and silica. The silica is an essential component to keep your muscles, bones, and tendons healthy. It also hydrates our skin, improves complexion and vision. »

Because I hate the taste of the peel. There are lots of reasons. Just eat it the way you like it.

Because of the pesticides and harder to digest. I wash them all the time too.

Yeah, I hardly ever peel cucumbers. Sometimes I peel four sides to make them pretty sliced but I still eat the peel.
