Lime Juice, Fresh

Olive Oil

Red Chilli Flakes
½ teaspoon

Black Pepper

Slice off the very base of the scallion roots and discard. Trim the leaves and remove any stringy outer leaves.Step 2
Heat a griddle pan over a high heat.Step 3
Drizzle the scallions with the olive oil and lime juice and season with salt and pepper. Rub the oil and seasonings into the scallions.Step 4
Arrange the scallions across the hot griddle pan and cook until tender and charred on both sides - about 4 minutes.Step 5
Toss with the dried chili flakes to serve.
