Keto Pizza sauce is one of the best low carb sauces to keep in your recipe box. It is easy to make and can be prepped and cooked in less than 10 minutes. The sauce starts with simmering fresh garlic cloves in olive oil. Then the tomato sauce is added along with Italian seasoning and kosher salt. The wonderful blend of olive oil and tomato sauce adds flavor and healthy fats to the sauce. The amount this recipe makes is about enough to coat two medium-sized pizza crusts.
What is the best tomato sauce to use?
The best tomato sauce is organic, as tomatoes are some of the highest vegetables in pesticides! They also don't cost too much more if you cannot find organic or want to use conventional, feel free to substitute it in a 1:1 ratio.
What type of pizza can I use this sauce on?
You can use this pizza sauce on Margherita-style pizzas, pepperoni, sausage, and any other style of pizza that requires a red sauce.
What can I do with leftover sauce? How do I make more sauce?
You can freeze any leftover sauce into deli containers or a zip-top bag. We like to use a zip-top bag because it can be frozen flat for convenient storage!
What can I use instead of Italian seasoning?
If you do not have Italian seasoning, you can omit it, as the sauce is delicious with fresh garlic and the olive oil only. If you want to add some herbs, you can add a pinch of oregano for an Italian-style flavor.
Can I use this sauce for anything else?

Step 1
Preheat a small saucepan over medium heat until hot. Add in the olive oil and garlic (which has been smashed well using the side of a knife). Allow the mixture to simmer on low heat for about 30 seconds to one minute. If the garlic starts to brown, immediately pour in the tomato sauce.Step 2
Add in the tomato sauce and give everything a good stir. Add in the Italian seasoning and the kosher salt. Taste and adjust seasoning to your liking.Step 3
Use this sauce as a topping for your favorite pizza with a red sauce base. This sauce should make enough for two medium pizza crusts. The sauce would also be delicious as a filling for calzones! You can also use this sauce as a dip for Keto breadsticks.

This is my go to pizza sauce. I grow fresh herbs, so I use oregano and basil in with the garlic at the start. Just a fyi, when using fresh herbs you won't need as much as dried.

'tomato sauce' is far too generic to make this recipe useful.
