Traditional tagine meals are named after the earthenware pot in which they are cooked. If you have a traditional pot, you can prepare this lovely recipe in it. If you don't own one, you can still enjoy this fantastic Moroccan meal. You can use a classic casserole dish and get the perfect results. Serve your Keto fish tagine immediately with sliced lemon or a dollop of Greek yogurt. Enjoy!

Feel free to add any type of fish you like. The result will still delicious. You can also combine several types of fish for a rich flavor your family will love!
What type of dish to use for this tagine?
As mentioned above, if you don't own a traditional Moroccan tagine dish, you can use a regular casserole dish to get the same results. We used a classic round casserole dish (8x3 inches).

Tunisian Harissa, Hot Chili Pepper Paste

Smoked / Sweet Paprika

0.5 cup, chopped
Fish broth, bouillon or consomme, ready-to-serve can

Step 1
Slice the peppers and garlic. Grease a large frying pan with olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, peppers, and onion powder. Stir-fry for 8-10 minutes.Step 2
Roughly chop the tomato. Add the tomato to the pan along with harissa, smoked paprika, cumin, turmeric, coriander seeds, and cayenne. Stir all well and continue to cook for another 10 minutes.Step 3
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roughly chop the cilantro. Cut the cauliflower into small florets. Transfer half of the mixture to a casserole dish. Add the cod fillets, cauliflower, and cilantro. Pour in the stock and add the remaining pepper mixture. Cover with the lid and bake for 1 hour.Step 4
When done, remove from the oven and transfer to serving plates. Garnish with some sliced lemon or Greek yogurt. Serve immediately.
