Keto French Fried Onions

These French-fried onions are the perfect combination of fries and onions rings. They are crispy, flavorful, and would definitely satisfy your junk food cravings. These fries are coated in a delicious cheesy crumb and deep-fried until golden and crunchy. We guarantee that this recipe will become a new favorite in your home.

What type of onions can you use for this Keto French fries recipe?

We have used yellow onions for this recipe, as we think they have a milder flavor than white and red onions. For this recipe, we recommend using the largest onion you can find to get long strips of fries.

How to serve these Keto French fried onions?

These Keto onion fries are loaded with flavor, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. We would munch on them as they are, but feel free to dip them in your choice of sauce or dressing. Some great options include homemade Keto ranch and Keto spicy BBQ sauce . Pair this side dish with fried chicken, burgers, or a low-carb sandwich. You can also use the leftovers as a casserole or salad topping.

Can you bake these onion fries?

Air-fried/baked fries won’t taste as rich as deep-fried ones. If that’s what you prefer, then ensure to spray all the pieces generously with oil. Gently flip and move around to get an evenly golden/crispy result.
